Leadership

Pastors

The biblical qualifications for  pastors are found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. Pastors (also called elders and overseers in Scripture) are responsible to know, lead, feed, protect, and care for God’s flock, the church.

Jeff Duncan

By God’s grace, Jeff is the founding pastor of Grace Church, and he serves as the primary preaching pastor. He graduated from Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 2009, and has been serving in Grace Church since 2011. He is blessed to have been married to Cindy since 1987, soon after they both came to Christ. Jeff is passionate about seeing people transformed by the good news of God’s grace in Jesus Christ. Therefore, he is committed to faithfully preaching the Word of God with Christ at the center.

Mike D’Andrea

Michael D’Andrea has been married to his wife Janice for over 38 years. They are blessed with four children, eleven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. He retired from the Marines in 1989, and he also recently retired from a second career as a corporate executive. Mike has a passion for God’s Word and His people, with a deep desire to see Grace Church and our surrounding communities know and grow in the word of God. He also desires to see Grace Church grow as a house of prayer as God’s word goes forth into our community.

Deacons

The biblical qualifications for deacons are found in [biblegateway passage=”1 Timothy 3:8-13″]. You can also find the beginning of the New Testament office of deacon in Acts 6:1-7. Deacons serve the church and the elders by taking on many of the administrative details of the church so that the elders can primarily stay focused on shepherding the church through faithful leading, teaching, and prayer, all according to God’s Word.
